2024 Economic Summit Planning committee meeting held on the 23rd September, 2024 at Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) HQ Maitama,Abuja. Hon. Akala Samuel host the team on behalf of ALGON. Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria ( REAN), The Infrastructure Bank Plc, The Husk Power System, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Civi-Pact Nigeria and the key staff of ALGON were all in attendance.

The theme of this year’s Summit is “25 years of Uninterupted Democracy: the Place of Local Government in Rural Development and Food Security” scheduled to hold between 3rd and 4th of December, 2024.
